Reading this site means accepting what follows. It is short, because the site does not sell anything, hold an account for you, or take your money.
Who is publishing
This site is published by Joe Garraffo personally. It is not published by Efferent Media, Vitality Medical Marketing Group, Consential, or any other company, and nothing here is a statement on behalf of one. Where a post draws on work done at those companies, it says so.
Quoting and republishing
The writing, charts, and data presentations on this site are mine and are protected by copyright. You are welcome, with no permission needed, to:
- Link to any page.
- Quote a reasonable extract in an article, a deck, a newsletter, or a post, with attribution to Joe Garraffo and a link to the page it came from.
- Cite a finding, a figure, or a chart on the same terms.
What you may not do without asking first:
- Republish a whole post, or the substance of one, on another site.
- Present the research or its figures as your own work, or as your company’s.
- Sell it, or put it behind a paywall of yours.

The research, and what it is worth
The posts here are observational. They describe what a particular set of accounts, pages, or campaigns did over a particular window, and the sample and the window are stated in the post because they are the load-bearing part. A pattern that held across seven practices is evidence about those seven practices, and a reason to go and measure your own. It is not a law.
Figures are correct as published and are not retrospectively revised in place. If a number turns out to be wrong, the post says so and says what it should have been, rather than quietly changing.
